Planet renders 2008-12-10 21:26:00

Last week was devoted to the creation of planets. With all needed details like, day/night effect, clouds, sun reflection in the seas and an atmosphere.

Planet render 2008-11-22 00:21:41

The planet render has been improved with better lighting , cloud and atmosphere support. The nicest thing from the render is the atmosphere effect. Its blue when the sun shines and it darkens when there is no sun to light the planet.

The new planet render improves much on the look of planets. Though the lighting effect aren't improved it looks much better than before.

The youtube movie is to much compressed to see the real improvement but it gives the feeling.

Bullets, grenades and poor NPCs 2008-11-06 16:45:12

For about 1 week we're busy with improving everything needed for shooting and throwing grenades. Since last week around 634 NPCs have been killed by our testers and coders while improving and testing the shooting and throwing grenade part. For the testing most NPCs have been disarmed making them easier to hunt. Those poor fellows...

since today there is a new version of the website online. this version supports direct connection with the game server. This made it easy to show and edit playerdata by the player himself.
